Illuminated Education provides educational activities designed for people who are interested in issues related to psychology, healing, and other aspects of human thought, feeling and behavior. The goal is to present up-to-date, thought provoking material integrating material from psychology and other fields including (but not limited to) mind-body medicine, mindfulness practice, and eastern and shamanic approaches to health and healing.

Continuing Education Approval

Illuminated Education is approved by the American Psychological Association to sponsor continuing education for psychologists.  Illuminated Education maintains responsibility for the programs.  Check individual course listings for the number of CE units available for each specific course.

CALIFORNIA PSYCHOLOGISTS: Courses that are provided by an American Psychological Association (APA) approved sponsor are recognized and accepted for CE credit by the Board of Psychology in California. Accordingly, we will grant CE credit under our APA Sponsor Approval.

CALIFORNIA MFTs, LCSWs, LPPCs and LEPs:  The California Board of Behavioral Sciences accepts APA approval for CE activities, as long as those activities are pertinent to your work and your license. Check individual course listings for the number of CE units available for each specific course.

Most states accept APA course approval for psychologists' CE activities.  In addition, many states accept APA approval for some or all CE activities for Master's level therapists and counselors.  State laws differ from each other and often change, so please remember it is your responsibility for interpreting your state’s laws, licensure requirements, course relevancy and all requirements for your state.

All courses are open to the interested public as well as mental health professionals unless otherwise specified.
